Payout Information Setup Guide - English

How payout works

Payout is decided per project, using only the payout information you added in that project. What happens to a paycheck depends on its currency and on what you have set up.

Your situation

What happens when a paycheck is released

Example

You have an account in the paycheck's currency

A withdrawal order is created automatically and paid to the primary account for that currency. This always happens and cannot be switched off.

Your paycheck is in SGD and you have an SGD account. It is paid to your primary SGD account, with nothing for you to do.

No account in that currency, and your other-currency payout setting is Automatic payout

The amount is converted at the exchange rate at that moment, and a withdrawal order is created automatically to the account you selected.

Your paycheck is in EUR, you have no EUR account, and you selected your SGD account for other currencies. The EUR amount is converted to SGD and paid to that account.

No account in that currency, and your setting is Manual withdrawal

Nothing is paid out automatically. The paycheck stays as "Available for withdrawal" until you withdraw it yourself.

The same EUR paycheck, but you chose Manual withdrawal. It waits in your Paycheck list until you withdraw it and decide when the conversion happens.

You have not added any payout information yet

Nothing is paid out automatically. The paycheck stays as "Available for withdrawal", and your project Dashboard shows a reminder with the currency you need.

Your first paycheck is released before you have added a bank account. It waits in your Paycheck list, and the Dashboard tells you which currency to add.

Two terms appear throughout this guide:

  • Primary account — for each currency, the one account that receives automatic payouts in that currency. If you have only one account in a currency, it is automatically the primary account for it.
  • Other-currency payout account — where paychecks go when they are issued in a currency you have no account for. You set it in Other-currency payout settings, where you can also choose to withdraw these paychecks manually instead. It has no effect on currencies you do have an account for; those always go to that currency's primary account.

How to add a new payout information

  1. On the Payout Information page, click "Add payout information"

  2. Fill in your bank account details:
    • Account nickname (optional)
    • Currency
    • Bank country
    • Account number / IBAN (one of the two). Exceptions: for MXN + Mexico, enter Account number (CBU); for ARS + Argentina, enter CLABE

Note: If you do not yet have an account matching both your paycheck currency and your employment entity country, the Currency field is locked to your paycheck currency and cannot be edited. Bank country is editable and pre-filled with your employment entity country where available.
  3. Select your tax and residency information. Choose an existing record from the dropdown (shown as Tax residence + TIN), or click "+ Create new" to add one in a pop-up window. After you create a new record it is selected automatically and you return to the same step.

  4. Submit the form.

  5. If this is the only account in that currency, it automatically becomes the primary account for that currency. If you already have two or more accounts in the same currency, a confirmation window asks whether to set this new account as the primary account for that currency.

  2. Each record is shown as a card with all of its fields, sorted from newest to oldest
  3. A record that is used by any payout information shows an "In use" tag
  4. Click "Add new tax & residency information" to add a new record. One record can be used by more than one payout information

Note: Tax and residency records are stored per project, the same as payout information.

How to set the primary account for a currency

Accounts on the list are grouped by currency, with the primary account shown at the top of each currency group.

  1. Find the account you want to use and click "Set as primary"

  2. The account already in use shows "Primary account" instead

When a paycheck is released in that currency, it is automatically paid out to the primary account for that currency.

How to set your other-currency payout settings

This decides what happens when a paycheck is issued in a currency you have no account for. It does not change how paychecks in currencies you do have an account for are paid — those always go to that currency's primary account.

  1. Click "Other-currency payout settings" on the Payout Information page
    [Screenshot: Other-currency payout settings button]

Note: This button is disabled until you have added at least one payout information. Add a bank account first.
  2. Choose one of the two options:
    • Automatic payout (with currency conversion) — after a paycheck is released, the amount is converted at the exchange rate at that moment and a withdrawal order is created automatically. Select which of your existing accounts to use from the dropdown.
    • Manual withdrawal — nothing is paid out automatically. You withdraw each paycheck yourself from the Paycheck list and decide when the currency conversion happens.

  3. Click Save to apply the setting. The account you selected shows an "other currencies payout account" tag on the list.

How your paychecks are paid out

Payout is decided per project, using only the payout information in that project.

  1. The paycheck currency matches one of your accounts — a withdrawal order is created automatically using that currency's primary account.
  2. The paycheck currency does not match any of your accounts — your other-currency payout setting decides: automatic payout creates a withdrawal order with currency conversion; manual withdrawal leaves the paycheck for you to withdraw yourself.

How to delete a payout information

  1. On the Payout Information list, click the delete button on the account you want to remove
    截圖 2026-09-22 下午6.06.47
  2. Confirm in the pop-up window ("Delete this payout account?" — Yes / No)
    截圖 2026-09-22 下午6.07.03

The delete button is disabled in these cases:

  • The account is the primary account for its currency. Set another account as primary first. (Exception: if it is the only account left in that currency and that currency is not your paycheck currency, it can be deleted.)
  • The account is your other-currency payout account. Set another account as the other-currency payout account first.

Manually withdrawing a payment

You withdraw a paycheck yourself only when it was not paid out automatically — that is, when its currency does not match any of your accounts and your other-currency payout setting is Manual withdrawal, or when you have not added any payout information yet. These paychecks show the status "Available for withdrawal".

  1. Header > Click "Login", log in to your Slasify account and enter remote office
  2. Select "Paycheck" in the dropdown menu
    截圖 2026-09-22 下午6.08.04
  3. Find the payment you want to withdraw (status "Available for withdrawal"), click the ⋯ button in the Action column, and choose "Proceed to Withdrawal"

    截圖 2026-09-22 下午6.09.04

  4. Under "Select a payout information", choose the account you want to be paid to, then click "Submit withdrawal"
    截圖 2026-09-22 下午6.09.47

Note: You can only select payout information that you added in the project the paycheck comes from. Your residency and tax details are shown as read-only, taken from the payout information you selected — you no longer need to fill them in. To add or change an account, click "Information setting" to go to that project's Payout Information page.
  5. Your payment will be debited into your account within 7 business days.
